Yoplait Diet ~ Days 10/11/12

I have to say that the past two days were hard...Pat was home from work because of the snow, and of course he likes to buy & eat junk food all the time - donuts, cheetos, cookies & more! I am really trying to do this...and part of me thinks he is just testing me to see how long I can hold out on junk food. I can honestly say, that Friday will be my last day doing this diet. I was going to go the full 14 days, but have decided that since I haven't lost any more weight since last week - something is not working. I am glad that I lost 6 lbs last week, but with no weight lost this week - I think my main problem is finding the time to exercise.

I have to exercise - either walking, playing on the Wii or something to get me moving. You would think chasing Destin would be enough, but no...I am hoping that in the next couple of weeks I can make more time for me by focusing on losing weight & eating healthier - try not to eat junk all the time. But to be fair, I love cakes, cookies & sweets - anything bad for you, I love! I would love to say I would give it all up - but thats not fair to me! I am going to enjoy life, and lose weight when I am ready and if eating sweets along the way is part of my diet, then so be it!

So for those of you that have been reading this, thank you! I am glad that I tried this diet thing...and I hope to learn something from this whole thing. That its okay to still be hungry after eating, and use portions. And maybe eventually I will learn how to count calories. Take care!

Wednesday, January 19th

Breakfast: Blueberry parfait yogurt, whole wheat toast & a small orange
Lunch: Orange cream yogurt, granola bar & banana
Dinner: Porkchops, stuffing, mashed potatoes & sliced carrots
Exercise: I don't remember?

Thursday, January 20th

Breakfast: Yogurt, granola bar & orange
Lunch: Yogurt, cereal & banana
Dinner: Leftover turkey tacos from earlier this week
Exercise: I shoveled half of the driveway - we got at least 8+ inches of snow!

Friday, January 21st

Breakfast: Yogurt, granola bar & orange
Lunch: Yogurt, cereal & fruit
Dinner: We are going to a friend's house tonight (the first time we have gone out in a couple weeks!)


  1. I dont think your problem is not enough exercise, but the reason you didnt lose weight is because there was not ONE day you followed the diet correctly. It is not eat any dinner you want! It is a protein and vegetable. Each day you had more than that. The exercise I am sure did not help either.

  2. I wanted to say, I was eating a protein & veggie everyday for dinner. And I did lose a little over 6 lbs the first week - so yay for losing weight! I did not lose weight the second week for a couple reasons...lack of exercise and following the diet exactly when it came to dinner time.
