Our trip to Sea Life Aquarium in KC

While Patrick was laid off (during a three week period) we went on a couple family outings, including one to the NEW Sea Life Aquarium in Kansas City.

The trip was really a lot of fun for all of us, although it was a little bit too high on our budget. The price was $50+ for Patrick, Destin and I - and then Arwen was Free since she is 2 and under.

The place itself was pretty amazing...fish of all kinds, an octopus, a "touch pool" where you can touch live star fish and shrimp, live sharks swimming over your head, sting rays, and more...

I am not sure when we will go back, since the price is a little too steep for us to shell out at the moment (again)...but maybe we can make a whole day out of it, and visit the NEW Lego Land Discovery Center which is right next door.

Many of my photos were VERY blurry, since they do not allow Flash Photography - you can take pics, just not w/a flash. You don't want to scare all the sea creatures!
