My thoughts...
This book is such a sweet compilation of everything you would want to say to your mother, just in case she didn't know already...that you love her, look up to her, thank her for everything she has done and more! Some of my favorite quotes from the book include (things I would say to my mom):
"How did you do it all?"
"The older I get, the more you amaze me."
"Celebrate yourself...you deserve it!"
"I believe in you."
"I will always need you."
This would be a wonderful gift for Mother's Day and I would highly recommend looking at the rest of the books in the 'Eat Your Peas' series...there is one for daughters, sons, daughter/mother n' laws, girlfriends, new moms, tough times, grandkids, fathers, grandparents, sweethearts, teens, a cure, the holidays and many more!
I really enjoyed reading how the author came up with the idea, which is at the end of the book...great ideas spread fast thats for sure!
Other tidbits...It only has one religious reference in it, "Her children rise up and call her blessed - Proverbs 31:28 (NKJV)" at the beginning of the book...so if you are not sure if its too religious, that is all that is mentioned. The book itself looks like its hand written text, and the illustrations are very cute on each page too!
