Soft Cup Product Review

As a woman, there is one thing that NONE of us look forward to...and that is our monthly visit from Mother Nature. For as long as I can remember, I have always used tampons, pads, or if money got really tight...just toilet paper to protect my clothing. But thanks to a new product from a company called Softcup, those items are a thing of the past.
So, what is Softcup?
Softcup is a flexible cup that is worn internally, around your cervix. It collects, rather than absorbs menstrual flow. It's hypo-allergenic, latex-free and completely safe when used as directed.
Softcup believes in empowering women and offering products that help to improve their lives. With a focus on health and well-being, Softcup celebrates women: They strive to be honest, trustworthy, positive, innovative, and empowering.
As a member of Moms Meet, I was able to try out this product, and even share it with a group of close friends and family...and it was no surprise that many women did not enjoy discussing such a topic. For some, its a private matter, and for others its the simple fact that change is not always welcome. But, for a select few, the product worked wonders.

The Softcup is a product that truly replaces pads and tampons altogether. Check out this table shown below...

What I loved the most about the Softcup, is that it did not cause any irritation, nor did it hurt inserting/removing from my body. I never even felt the product while I was using it, and had I not been so "heavy", I probably could have worn the product for the full 12 hours, as it claims to work.

I never did wear the product overnight, or during sex...but I imagine it worked in a positive manner in both cases. When I did wear the Softcup, I noticed that odor was not an issue, and I felt very safe knowing that it was not linked to TSS.

So, the big question is...why should YOU try it?
  • You can wear Softcup for up to 12 hours
  • Softcup is comfortable during swimming and sports
  • Softcup eliminates menstrual odor, since your flow ins't exposed to air
  • You can wear Softcup during sexual intercourse
  • Its comfortable - and cannot be felt once its inserted
  • You save money using Softcups, since you use fewer during your cycle (as compared to pads/tampons which are changed on almost every bathroom visit)
  • Softcups have NO wings, NO strings...just freedom!
Because of its special design, the Softcup is one size fits almost all women. A 14-pack retails for $8 - $10; and a reusable Softcup 2-pack (you just wash, and re-wear) retails for $6+. If you are trying to be more "green", I would highly suggest checking out the reusable Softcups...they seem to be exactly the same as the original, you just re-use them!

So, where you can you find Softcup?
At Walmart Supercenters, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Kroger, Fred Meyer, Price Rite, Shop Rite, Harris Teeter, Wegmans, Duane Reade, Harmon, and Raley’s, as well as online at softcup.com or kiwishoponline.com.
