MAM Rock-a-bye Baby Party

October is almost over, and before it ends I have to share the most exciting news!!! I was selected among many applicants to be a host for MAM's Rock-a-bye Baby Party from Child's Play Party.
What is MAM?
We’re MAM - the small Austrian company with big ideas! From our start in 1976, our mission has been to combine outstanding design, optimal functionality and medical know- how to a line of smart baby products. Starting with one unique pacifier, today MAM’s range includes a variety of intelligent baby design in four key areas- pacifiers, bottles, teethers and oral care. (All BPA-Free!)

The core of our success is the collaboration of professionals who provide visionary design and medical know-how-to everything we do. The result is wonderful products that satisfy the highest expectations of parents and give babies the best start in life.

The Package
Child's Play Party sent me an enormously HUGE box full of goodies for up to 10 guests and myself! The following products were included in up to three colors: Anti-Colic (5 oz & 8 oz), Pacifiers (night), Pacifier clip, Oral Care Rabbit, Training/First Brush Oral Care set, Cooler teether, Bite & Brush teether, Nipples (three different stages) and prizes for my guests as well (a frame, lipgloss, candles, & cookie cutters).

The Party

The party took place on a Sunday afternoon in our playroom (located conveniently downstairs in our house). I had several of my close friends and family attend, along with their babies ages 0 - 2 years old.
Here is baby Gentry sporting one of her favorite pacifiers from MAM!

I gathered together all of my old baby shower bags and divided them into groups - boys, girls and both :D Since some of the products were pink/purple, blue and then green.

A game we played at the party - where you had to bring a picture of your baby. You could compare height, weight, and age, in their very own Birth Announcement.

My oldest loved the Oral Care Rabbit, which teaches your kids how to brush their teeth (starting when they are first born!).

My girls loved modeling for everyone how to use the products!

Along with all the great goodies from the box that was sent, it also included a few game ideas as well...."Test Your Baby I.Q." which was extremely educational! We learned all about MAM, pacifiers, oral care and more! We had several great conversations about colic, SIDS, teething, bottles, breastfeeding and more.

We also loved "Baby Loves to Dance" ~ where all the babies and their mommies danced to music :D

Most of my guests had never even heard of MAM (and I hadn't either!). But when everyone left, they all said how they will definitely be sharing what they learned from my party!

Thank you so much to MAM USA and Child's Play Party, for allowing me to host such an amazing party with my friends and family! And thank you for being so patient, since has taken me almost 2 weeks to have this email posted!

Gogo's Crazy Bones Bonanza!

About a month ago I was selected to be a host courtesy of Child's Play Party (see my post here)...and this month I was lucky enough to be selected again for another party ~ Gogo's Crazy Bones Bonanza! Woo hoo! If you would like to learn more about this great company and apply for parties too, then check out their website!

What are Gogo's Crazy Bones?
Gogo's are the hottest mini game toy for boys and girls ages 4 - 12.
Gogo's are small colorful characters that come in hundreds of colors and designs, each one with a unique name, design, personality and special ability. Kids of all ages have fun collecting, trading and playing with Gogo's Crazy Bones! Check out the video below:

Gogo's were inspired by games from ancient Greece where children played by bouncing and throwing sheep knuckle bones. Today’s Gogo’s are reminiscent of old school favorites such as marbles and jacks, with a modern twist! Each Gogo has a unique number for collecting and designed so you can hold and throw with one finger.

Look for the Stamp

You can identify an authentic Gogo's Crazy Bone by the Magic Box Int stamp on the back of your Gogo. This certifies your Gogo is an original with fantastic bounce, design and personality.

The Series
Each Gogo's Series has about 80 different Gogo's in five different colors, some of which are rarer than others, each with a unique face and name. You can find Series 1 – The Originals, in stores now. Series 2 – The Evolution Series, will hit stores near you in May 2011 and Series 3 – Gogo’s Explorer Series will arrive in August 2011!

Every Gogo has a sticker for the sticker album. Each Gogo is available in 5 different colors.

What did I get?
Here is a pic of what came in my party box, minus the evaluation forms. The 100 Gogo individual packs were divided in half by the white sealed bags.

  • Product samples: 15 Gogo’s Crazy Bones sticker albums (see a closer look in the pic below) which included 15 Gogo’s “Flow” packs with 3 Gogo’s and 3 stickers per pack
  • 100 single Gogo packs (1 Gogo and 1 sticker)
  • How to Play Gogo’s Crazy Bones instructions (included in sticker album)
  • 10 guest evaluation forms
Here is a closer look at one of the 15 Gogo’s Crazy Bones sticker albums

All the lovely...parties

You know that Beatles song (Eleanor Rigby) where they sing, "All the lovely people, where do they all come from..."

Well that song is playing over and over in my head because I found this list of amazing blogs/sites that provide freebie printables or ideas on how to design/buy your own party stuff for baby showers, birthdays, weddings, etc.

I would like to believe that there is some kind of creative instinct living deep down inside of me...but I just would like to know where it is. Why couldn't I have a beautifully decorated party? Or a beautifully designed house that comes out of a magazine? I just had no ideas how many hundreds, if not thousands of sites there are out there that encourage being creative, making things and publishing it on the world wide web.

Here are some of my favorite ones I found:
http://karaspartyideas.blogspot.com/
http://imprintables.blogspot.com/
http://www.gwynnwassondesigns.com/
http://onecharmingparty.com/

I guess I am just so overwhelmed by how much there is...but this morning as Arwen naps, and Destin is playing nearby I am adding blogs to follow, and links to like on Facebook..hoping and believing that maybe someday I could have such a lovely party. A lovely house. A lovely get together that will be remembered for years to come.

I wonder if there is anyone else out there who has these same hopes...hope for a creative part of their world come alive! Maybe when I find it, I could make money or promote a business of my own someday - wouldn't that be nice? I have a handful of friends that have done this...and I think I have mentioned it before. I feel like my creative side is just hiding and needs to spring out of me! Maybe someday...

Stride Panty Party

I was recently selected to host a STRIDE Everyday Power Panty Party from Child's Play Party...and this past weekend was the big event!

So what is STRIDE?

STRIDE Everyday is a breakthrough in fashionable women’s (and mens according to their site!) underwear and feminine hygiene! Our innovative 2-in-1 solution keeps you dry with its patented absorbency technology sewn right into the gusset – replacing the need to use disposable pantiliners! The sewn in protection is so thin and comfortable you won’t even know it’s there, and neither will anyone else.
Our women’s underwear collection offers various fashionable styles, sizes and colors for women of all walks of life and sizes.

STRIDE Everyday panties are machine washable. Each wash allows the gusset and panty to thoroughly release any “locked” in moisture for a fresh wear every time.

A first of its kind, there is no other comparable product out there with the quality in fabrication and performance of our patented absorbency technology.

Comfort & Confidence, Every Day!

Here is a pic of all the goodies I got to keep and share with friends and family! They provided a t-shirt (for the hostess), three pairs of Stride undies, tons of $4.00 off coupons, party gifts (socks, makeup, nail polish & more!), gift bags/ribbons, games, ideas for what to serve as far as snacks/drinks, questionnaires for my guests to get free undies and more!

A picture of me sportin' my new t-shirt before the party started!

The back of the shirt...which says Stride Everyday and their website

A close up of the coupons you would receive as my guest...

A close up of the three pairs of undies they sent for me to try...
All three are very comfy ~ I think my favorite one was the bikini sport (the purple flowered one)!

Oooh la la! My husband loves the thong undies! Very sexy!

I didn't take a lot of pics...but we had lots of pink, panties and adult favors for all the wonderful ladies that came! They loved playing the games, and of course enjoying each others company!

To make it more adult-like the party was in the evening, when little ones would be in bed...and I decided to serve desserts for my guests to enjoy! Cookies, brownies and some healthy fruit were offered...as well as water and tea.

I have to say that I really like wearing the STRIDE panties...they are comfortable, and give me an extra boost of confidence. After having two girls I am not ashamed admit that I do have some leaking when I cough, sneeze, laugh, run, or just plain walk anywhere! Its just part of being a new mommy and I know that there are other women out there that have the same issue as I do.

If you would like to learn more about this great company and their products, please visit their website and/or follow them on twitter! Also, if you are interested in hosting your own party someday (where you get freebie stuff that you can keep and share with others) please visit Child's Play Party.
